they are not compatible, they are original capsules
the Vertuo capsules can be only purchased from the official store/website
Nothing beats DRM built into your coffee machines
After checking with the support of the website I linked in my previous comment, it seems that the capsules are only compatible with the older Nespresso machines, like the Essenza Mini or the Inissia. Apparently it's because the Vertuo capsules are patented, whereas the older style patents have expired and that allows 3rd parties to make them for cheap. Considering that these capsules are the long-term expenses (i.e subscriptions), I think it's better to get a machine that's compatible with these capsules.

I had 3 machines under repair and replacement within 3 months. They leak and so I got a refund through Harvey Norman who were good to deal with
Honestly one of my biggest regrets was getting a vertuo, my Essenza Mini has been going for about 4+ years and my vertuo machine broke within the first year, the warranty replacement was also broken as well out of the box
Read some of the 1 star reviews and they seem to complain about the same problem……anyone can give their opinion on this?
