Not a bad price considering the game alone retails for around this much.

  • Thank you so much! Just ordered one, I've been waiting 2 years for it to drop in price lol.

    • Amazon AU had the base edition for ~$62NZD at launch. I picked up a copy but admittedly haven't opened it yet cause I'm still inching my way thru BotW.

      • Such a good price for it at launch! Especially for the follow up to botw.
I'm doing the same hence why I never got totk until now, still making my way through botw, dont know when I'll finish it lol.

  • Does this kind of thing tend to increase in value over time?

    • I pre-ordered it for double the price from Nintendo. It's up for sale for half the price now. :D

But if you can hold on to it and if switch becomes like NES or GameBoy. It will go up in value.

    • No.

It's incredibly rare for any "special edition" of anything to increase in value. Especially since literally everything seems to get some sort of special edition these days. It's essentially gamers Franklin Mint/Readers Digest versions.

And the fact they are discounting it is usually a big clue too.

I mean wait long enough (20+ years) and maybe.
