That's 10c per pack if you pay cash and buy nothing else.

By direct comparison, 40g Copper Kettle Chips or 45g Doritos at Woolworths are currently on a "Low Price" of $1.80.

Almost worth swinging into a BP if you're passing by (and like chips).

  • T&Cs are unclear. Reading them it looks like you might need to purchase fuel to get the 12c chips?
There does not appear to be a minimum purchase of fuel though (although most pumps have a minimum to dispense).

    • I think that might be because they’ve got a fuel offer and a chip offer (two different offers from my understanding) listed in the same terms & conditions.

      • That's how I read it too.. And I read it a few times. Two separate offers, although it's not very clear.

    • I don't think you do, this is from the email I just received

"During Offer Period, buy any Premium fuel (95 Unleaded, BP Ultimate 98 Unleaded & BP Ultimate Diesel), regular fuel (91 Unleaded & Diesel), or Auto LPG, sold at participating bp stores in NZ (excl bp truck stops) &/or any variety of 35-45g Bluebird Chips Brands (Bluebird Original, Thinly, Doritos, Copper Kettle, Cheetos and Sunbites), chips in 1 trans. & scan your Everyday Rewards card at time of payment or pay using linked BPme App to receive 12c fuel discount &/or 1 bag of 35 45g Bluebird Chips Brands chips for 12c"

  • Yea the t’s and c’s are confusing. Gonna wait for other users to find out if you need to buy fuel in order to get it. Saves me the embarrassment

    • Unless their T&C's are wrong they look pretty straight forward to me. They have &/or when talking about the products and the discounts associated with them, which means purchase fuel AND chips to receive a discount on your fuel AND chips, OR you can purchase just the fuel to receive the fuel discount OR just the chips for the discount on those.

  • No fuel. Normally $2.60. Paid $0.10.

  • Tried doing this morning, wouldn’t work without fuel purchase. So much for lunch.

    • Yeah I figured. I mean I always get peddled to buy overpriced Mars bar or V everytime I fuel up at BP counter.

    • At my local BP, the POS machine changed my $2.60 copper kettle to $2.00 then added a $1.88 deduction the moment I scanned by Everyday Rewards card. Walked away with a 12c bag of chips.

They wouldn’t let me use it on Grain Waves though.

  • Extra 12c off per L if you buy a packet of chips for the usual price. That's what our bp had

  • I had same experience as Simch -

At my local BP, the POS machine changed my $q2.60 copper kettle to $2.00 then added a $1.88 deduction the moment I scanned by Everyday Rewards card.
Walked away with a 12c bag of chips.

  • Worked at my BP! They even had a huge display of these chips set up near the entrance! The guy smiled when i made a beeline for the chips. I asked if the offer had been popular and he said yes and no. A lot of people getting fuel had apparently declined the chip offer! I had my husband's reward card with me as well and was able to grab 2 bags as 2 transactions without any issues!

  • Same experience here as others… EFTPOS Terminal originally said $2, then discounted to $0.12. BP on Taranaki St, Wellington.

    Will go again today :D

  • Well, I tried. Ellerslie BP refused to sell me chips unless I filled up with a minimum of $40.00. My car is already full

    • Where did they get the number $40 from?

  • Who knows? He was stubborn as, even when I politely asked him to show me where it says that (ignored my question but wouldn't relent).
The next station I passed by was fine and I got my chippies no problem there.

      Classic salty franchisees 😂

    • The one near the town centre? That's a BP Go station which are the smaller ones that tend not to participate in nationwide promotions.

  • +1

This is the last week for this promotion and tomorrow is the last day.

    • Great promo, plus I get to make use of those 10c coins I hoarded since I was a kid

  • Fuel: $0.12 off for the month of April
