Set the address to Sydney Opera House and got this message "That offer is only valid in select locations" when i clicked the link using my phone. Any idea?
I deleted all my saved addresses and made my home address in some random place in NSW. Then clicked on the link and was able to activate the membership. Changed everything back to my NZ addresses afterwards.
don't need to delete just need to make Aus addy is the current active one (the address that shows at the top above search on the app on homepage)

Just deleted all address set the address to NSW one and restarted the app still get the same message :(
Didn't work for me in the uber app (where I can choose the eats tab). Downloaded the separate uber eats app and it worked for me with that.

Looks like the Uber one discount are not applied for NZ address.
That's a shame - Looks like you still get access to uber one promos, like 40% off four square or a free snack box with $25 spend at KFC, so still some value at least.
Yup, seems it only gives you access to uberone promos but not the delivery discounts

Yeah likewise, and people are reporting the same in the OzBargain thread. Will keep trying and I'll report back should I manage to successfully cancel it. I've set a calendar reminder for 20th September as a backup option.

Once logged in, there is a toggle down the bottom of the page which reads 'I want to cancel my membership' along with a Submit button. I later got an email with a link to a conversation with a customer service rep, asking my reasons for cancelling. Gave my reasons around it being an AU trial and they have now actioned the cancellation. Took about 48 hours in total.
Note that this has completely removed the Uber One subscription, which is fine by me as I can't even utilise the free delivery with this trial. My account no longer shows an active subscription.

I just got an offer in app for 12 months of Uber One for $9.60 which is an insane deal. So for anyone disappointed that this deal doesn't work out for them, check and see if you've been offered this promo.

After updating my location Sydney Opera House and then clicked on the link provided then got a message that offer is only valid in selected location
Does anyone know what happens if you before expiry you want UberOne for free delivery, or get another promo offer but this one doesn't expire until 25th September, can it be overridden or cancelled?
