Have an a9+ and s9 fe. The a9+ is really slow, i wouldn't recommend it.

I had an A8 and just got a S9+ on that clearance deal, my word the difference. I knew the A8 wasn't great but it was starting to struggle with YouTube and Chrome. I'd highly recommend if you can afford it going to at least the S9 fe for the performance boost, s pen and finger print reader.

      • Aren't the FEs mid range devices capitalising on the name association? I bought an S23FE, and the thing is awful.

In the tablet space the A series cpu is really weak and they don't have much ram. Jumping to the fe addresses both of those things. For phones its a bit more murky as the spread of devices is much bigger, the fe range is probably not far off the A5x series but leaps about the A2X series. Tablets have A, S fe and S and the jump between the tiers is pretty significant.

      • So glad i was able to pickup today a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus 5G, 8/256GB Grey for $650 that I saw on there the other night, (unfortunately was only 1) after missing out the S9 deals.
It was dusty as packaging, so seems they must it found it stashed somewhere in their Hamilton stock room clearout.

Highly recommend checking HN, JB, Farmers, NL, etc etc over the next 2-3 weeks as they clear out old stock and bring in the new stuff

$2474 for the 65” S90D OLED is pretty good. Cheaper than the 55”

$1439.20 for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB is the lowest price I've seen for it so far, let alone with the bonus 10000mAh power bank. https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/p/samsung-galaxy-s24-ultra-256…

    • If you have access to the Samsung Epp/Edu store you can get the S25 Ultra 512gb down to $1443 at present. Have been keeping an eye on them for the wife.

      • How did you get $1443 on EPP?

        • I can't remember the starting figure but obviously it already starts out cheaper on the Edu store than on the standard store. There was the free "double your storage" promo which took it from 256gb to 512gb, then I had a $0 trade in (A04) + $300 trade in boost, and a $50 coupon from support chat. I also had the 10% welcome discount applied as it was a new account. That brought the final price down to $1443.
