Things you need to know
General items promotion:
  • Applies to listings started from 12:00 am until 11:59 pm on Sunday 6 April 2025.
  • Discount applies to success fees on general items only, any other applicable listing fees still apply.
  • Discount applies to relists, but only if they are relisted on the day of the promotion. Only applies for the first listing period.
  • This promotion is available to casual sellers only (not in-trade).
  • Car parts are included, however large machinery listed in the 'Business, farming and industry' category are not (e.g. tractors and trailers).
  • Limited of 100 listings applies.

Motors promotion:
  • This promotion is available to casual sellers only (not RMVT registered, and lists less than 10 vehicles in any 12 months period). The promotion applies to a maximum of one listing per member.
  • Applies to listings started from 12:00 am until 11:59 pm on Sunday 6 April 2025. Relists after 90 days aren't included.
  • Applies only to used cars and motorbikes (not to other vehicle types, e.g. campervans and boats).
  • Applies to basic listings only. Normal fees apply for other listing types.
  • This offer is non-transferable.

    Anyone would be crazy to ever spend the $100 listing fee for a car [which has creeped up significantly]. Wait a short while and you're pretty much assured to have a free listing day soon.

        Jesus, yeah I have a car listed on Facebook Marketplace at the moment, I went to list it on TradeMe the other day thinking, "Basic Listings are like $20, right? I remember they added a new, cheaper tier and then massively bumped the price for premium tiers" and (profanity) nope, $100 for the Basic tier.

        So just listed it on Facebook only and decided to wait for one of these.

      $100 well spent if you need a car gone quick to fund the next AND don't want to deal with all of the idiots, just some of them. Bit like needing a new car battery, me needing to sell a car always falls on a time they don't have free listings.

    finally a good chance to get rid of my homepod mini, apple watch, and iPhone! Tried facebook marketplace, like 50 out of 10 are scammers. Absolute joke.
