Oh cool how does this compare with 2degrees orbi routers? And are these generally compatible with most modems?
Sole review in PBTech says: "Cannot recommend, even to advanced users (you will need fairly advanced skills to get it to connect to 2degrees, and they can't help you much!)"
They have a guide to setup usually on every isp. It's probably not easy if you don't know how to even login to the admin interface though.
I'd take that with a pinch of salt, BYO router does usually require some digging in the settings if it's imported
I would not recommend the Orbi router at all, I have an asus router, switched to a 2degrees plan and got the Orbi router, worst decision I could make.
Orbi 6 doesnt allow you to seperate the SSID's for 2.4 and 5ghz, it automatically decides which internet your devices need.
Constant disconnects on laptop and gaming consoles.

All my IOT devices took forever to respond and connect to the router
My security camera system kept disconnecting from the router ever 2nd day.change it back to my asus router a month after trying to resolve and figure out the root cause of these.

I looked at few reviews for this seems negative. Anyone using these here at the moment?
I'm gonna pull the plug for now and see in 14 days if i need to return this. I have used the nighthawk AX1800 (it was okay at my old place) before but it wasn't good enough for my new place, so i had to get 2 orbi mesh. Hoping this can replace the orbi mesh which is rented.

Purchased on this clearance and set it up. Only one issue and that is that the app it says to use for install takes you through a whole long as process only to say its not compatible with this model at the very end.
