The Egyptian cuisine, with its flavorful mezze, hearty stews, and sweet baklava, tells its own story of cultural confluence and tradition.

Egypt for me was one of my most memorable tours of my 80+ countries, and I look back on it extremely fondly. I went with GoBus, who doesn't appear to be around any more but they were the bargain subsidiary of On The Go tours, if anyone is looking for a recommendation.
