Yes, use revanced. Xmanager is currently suffering from some issues this year.
I've had Spotify premium for probably over 5 years at this point for free. One of my most grateful pieces of work from the community.
I still remember the times before having premium and listening to ads while I mowed the lawn.
Is that for android only or is there a workaround for iOS?

How do you bring existing playlists across?
That's the beauty of it. There is no bringing playlists across. You can use your existing account and just log in.
@Bill: Had a quick look at revance (for Youtube?) and it looks complicated. Easy to set up? What exactly does it do for Spotify?
@L3tstaxth1s: Revanced is definitely more complicated than xmanager. Revanced Spotify is also much more difficult than YouTube to me. Maybe because I've done YouTube dozens of times before and Spotify only once.
But the good news is it's relatively riskfree. It might take a few tries but there's nothing you can do to mess up your phone.
You can take a look at this video(reddit.com), or you can also just find a prepatched APK. This will make it dead easy, basically someone else has already done all the work and you can just install it. Only risk is you have to find a reputable source, not just any link from the internet. I can send you a link if you want.
It basically turns your account into a premium account. Another person using your phone won't be able to tell it's not a real premium account.

I just used the hack where you sign up at indian prices uses a VPN and purchasing a 12 month gift card. Worked out at about $39NZD for the 12 months
