Nice deal from Resene. From the website:
At Resene we’re assisting The Salvation Army to help Kiwi families in need. Bring a can of food into your local Resene owned ColorShop and you can swap it for a Resene testpot (55ml-80ml).
Resene will then donate all the food brought in to The Salvation Army local foodbanks and other community foodbanks.
By adding a little more colour to your life you can also help those in need. When you donate a can of food you'll save on your testpot purchase (save up to $5.50 on an 80ml testpot) while also helping provide disadvantaged Kiwis with food parcels when they need them most.
So start gathering up those cans and bring them into your local Resene owned ColorShop.
We accept all cans of food in good condition and suitable for humans to eat.
If you prefer to bring in canned pet food, we can accept that also and will donate it to the SPCA and local community animal shelters.
Limit 8 free testpots 55ml-80ml per household. Food cans must be at least 200gm/ml in size and with the manufacturer’s original full product label. The Hunger for Colour programme runs 1 February – 29 February 2016 or while testpot stocks last.
If you have extra unwanted canned food you’d like to donate, we’d be delighted to accept it and will pass it onto community foodbanks on your behalf.
Ohh going to Watties staff sales next week, I wonder if they will take old cans of asparadisgusting?!
