Kathmandu Centaurus Sleepsuit $59.98 (Was $250)

120

Spotted this today. $249 down to $60. Seems to be a pretty good price. Much like a sleeping bag but shaped like a 'suit'. Rated for temperatures as low as 6 degrees C, so good for those Summer/Autumn/Spring camping trips, maybe not in the middle of winter however.

Also plenty of other camping gear on sale at the moment, so have a browse of their website

We all want one of these. The Centaurus Sleep Suit is a take-with-you-anywhere, water-resistant, EN-tested sleeping bag with a H3 Insulite fill, ideal for moderate climates . The trick is you can wear this sleeping bag, as well as sleep in it. Arm-access “sleeves” allow you to sit up in your tent and read without peeling the bag off your shoulders. A drawstring foot-box can be closed for sleeping, or cinched up around your waist to walk around camp, allowing you to stay cosy in your sleeping bag sitting around the campfire sharing stories, or walking to the blocks to brush your teeth. The drawstring hood provides extra warmth, while the hand pockets provide convenient storage. The Centaurus is a flexible sleeping system, designed for campers, car-travellers, Dirtbag Climbers, students and anyone who wants sleeping bag comfort all the time.

Awesome, now to get one for the wife. It's my fault she is cold at night… All because I sleep on the bundled up duvet, apparently!

  • Bizarre Price History - Think you'd call that a Yo-Yo Curve ! Currently at 'Walking the Dog' price stage…..

    Sleepsuit's Price History on Pricespy

    • I wonder why they decided to increase it so much after so long..

      • Gotta feel sorry for anyone who purchased it at 'full' price. Obviously pricing it for marketing purposes, not product quality. Blatant intention to pseudo-inflate the 'sales' value.

        • This is called capitalising on the period just prior to the summer, camping season and Xmas buying frenzy.

    • Didn't even check that! Seems like Kathmandu is the Dick Smith of the clothing/outdoor world.

Sweet, had 2 x $20 vouchers to use too, so that + pickup = bargain:

    • Good Deal!

    • great deal, now tell us how to get those $20 vouchers for free :)

      • One was for being a Summit Club member for a year (free during promotion), and the other was for spending over $500, which I didn't even consider when buying the stuff, as I needed it, and don't actually even remember spending that much… Just checked, I didn't, so not sure why they sent it to me with that reason. Not complaining though.
