Flight Centre is offering a return airfare to Amsterdam, Netherlands via China Eastern for $999 return. The flight connects through Shanghai on the way. Looking at Skyscanner & China Eastern's website the best price I can get is ~$1400 so this is a pretty good deal.

Interestingly it states:
Overnight stop in PVG on the inbound travel.
however, going through CE's website I don't see any of the inbound flights with an overnight stay, just long layovers. I believe with CE you can get a free layover in Shanghai so definitely worth checking out for a couple of days to break up the flying.
Very nice, shame about the very limited dates though! Also they do charge a booking fee iirc.
