I use the YouTube Centre browser extension. It adds a button without having to go anywhere, plus there are some other cool features.
In case, anyone is interested, I just delete the 'ube' from youtube links so I can download the video as mp4 or mp3.
Eg.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJHB^BJm
and by deleting the UBE in www.youtube.com gives you:
https://www.yout.com/watch?v=GJHB^BJm
