Make Any Purchase at McDonald's and Get a Free Big Mac Voucher

230

"All you have to do is come to one of our restaurants tomorrow, buy anything on our menu and you'll get a voucher for a free Big Mac. You've then got until 30 June 2016 to use it, for whenever you get the taste for our famous Big Mac."

In theory you could buy a cone for 60c and get a free Big Mac : )

Enjoy!

  • wow I imagine it will be chaos with so many people trying to get a freebie

    • +2

True, but this deal is available at any store in NZ. Also, this deal has only gone out to email subscribers so far.

      • +1

The deal is reported in the comments in the Facebook post of the 75c deal.

  • So, I buy a $1 frozen coke and get a free big Mac.

    • +1

Ice cream $0.70 the cheapest item?

      • +1

True, will get one. Even better than the 75c deal. 70c for a big Mac nation wide! This is massive.

        • +5

          This is massive.

Shame about the size of the "Big" Mac though!

        • @Shaw: are the new Big Macs digestible by a human's stomach???

        • @footy7:

          YES

          I eat then everyday!*

          *almost

        • @ClipIt: Hodor!

  • Awesome, now I have a good reason to have maccas without getting told off by the missus :)

    "Vouchers are limited"

I'll go after midnight and see if they're giving Away those vouchers. I think they'll run out rather quickly

    • +2

Tried the Royal Oak store - no joy. The graveyard shift staff doesn't seem to know about this, although they do know the 75c Big Mac deal.

      • Yeah, I suspect the vouchers are very limited.

      • A little heads up - the day staff is definitely giving them away, but you need to ask for them.

  • Hey Sam91, just wondering where you signed up for McDonald's email newsletter, can't find a place.

    • +2

Not 100% sure, but I think I started receiving emails after I made a burger here.

    • +1

Targeted I believe. I got an email to one one of my accounts but offer is opened to the public

      Hi ClipIt.

I have been on McDonald's mailing list in the past, but accidentally unsubscribed when I wanted to change my email address. Have asked them in emails to put me back on the list, but no luck so far. Might have to make a burger… you might too.

      Cheers,
      Mark.

  • Anyone managed to find out what the deal is with these, or grab one, yet? I'll go in when I head into town later, but not holding my breath.

    • +1

Grabbed 1 cple of hours ago, wow hash browns cost $2.40 now, I thought they were $1

      • which Mc Ds?

    • I tried at around 7am and didn't get anything.

    • +3

Got them just now. Soft serves on a cold morning, yum. If they're busy you might be in luck when redeeming one, as in their rush when giving you your order, they might hand you a second voucher. The receipts with free bigmac say ****PROMO**** on the top to indicate they aren't meant to give you a second voucher.

      • Which McD's?

        • +2

Hamilton CBD. It'll vary based on the person who gives you your order and how distracted they are. The person only realized after handing the bag over.

  • +2

Just got one each. Didn't seem like they had been giving many out, the guy seemed a bit confused that we asked, but had no issues handing them over.

    • I noticed that they only give them out when asked, and at one store the manager has all the vouchers for safekeeping. I got 4 vouchers from 4 different McDonalds as I drove on the motorway.

I heard from staff at one store that the Queen St McDonalds is absolutely packed, with queues all the way up to JB Hifi. Apparently their entire menu (not just the Big Mac) is down to 1970s prices.

    • Which McD's?

      • +1

If you're asking me, I went to Royal Oak, Mt Roskill, Balmoral and St Lukes Mall. I took a longer route from the Southwestern motorway to Te Atatu.

  • Asked Glen Innes Mc D's about it and they don't know anything about it. They say only Queen St CBD which they are referring to the 75c Big Mac.

    • They're wrong, ask the manager.

      • Yeah the cashier grabbed the manager and he knew nothing about it.
Just a heads up for anyone trying the Glen Innes one.

That is a terrible looking Ronald!

    • +1

now you know why I stopped going to Macca's

  • +2

Got mine at the South City branch in Chch. Ordered a hamburger, was surprised to see one in the bag so got 2 vouchers. Score.

  • +2

    This is what I did.

    • Ordered one loaded fries for $4.10
    • Ordered Separately one Frozen Coke for $1
    • Looked in the bag with the loaded fries and found a Big Mac (no voucher, just a Big Mac)

So I ended up with 3 big macs, 1 loaded fries and a frozen coke, all for $5.10. Almost enough to fill me up.

    • +1

      Nice.

We ended up with 4 big mac vouchers, 2 soft serve, and 2 frozen drinks for $3.40.

      • +2

I brought a few BBQ Cheeseburgers for $2 each. interestingly that wasn't available at one of the restaurants I've been to, so probably it's one of those Maharaj franchisee specials.
