A friend of mine commenced work in Feb 2015 and wasn't paid till April 2015. The company assured him that his payment would be reported in the correct year. However, the company failed to do so. They included all his 2015 earnings into 2016. Is this right? What can he do about this? Can he request the company to correct it?
