i think regardless of the internal drive it is a good deal.
Great deal if you are going to use it as an external drive. But keep in mind, if you open it up to use the internal drive in your system, that would likely void the warranty. it sucks, wish the internal drive is selling for this price.
yup. not sure if ill open or run as an external. i'll use it for a parity drive in snapraid (or flexraid)

you are lucky! I think Amazon shipped out number of HDD until they reliase that they have had error on the pricing hence cancelling the remaining orders..
I read the price dropped further, then I regretted buying it early, looks like it turned ok in the end for me.
