Imo if you don't fly often this is a good deal

Cost A$98 - $17.50 - GOOD DEAL FOR EAR BUDS <<<<3 + a 8gb sd card (but lets be honest who cares about that)

    • Sorry, meant $12.50.

  • +1

Can't seem to see terms. Is this eligible for:

-Kiwibank customers already with an Airpoints credit card, but applying for another card at a different level
-Kiwibank customers who have a credit card but not an Airpoints one.
-Kiwibank customers who do not have a credit card.

  • Guys is there a minimum amount or % of cost before you can redeem airpoints on a flight? Does it have to be all airpoints or is airpoints + cash possible? Ty.

    • You have to be able to cover the entire airfare portion of the ticket. Many airport taxes can't be paid by it. Eg a return ticket into some aussie airports is nearly half tax. You can purchase Airpoints using either the credit card and the feature on the website for it, or using the onesmart card. You can generally cover an entire domestic fare with it however.

Some cards give you an "advance" which is basically like purchasing Airpoints on the credit card except it does it automatically if required.

  • Are airports any good? I gave up on loyalty systems but wonder if they are really worth it,what do you think?

    • Do you fly with Air NZ? If you do your probably use them pretty quickly and it's $100 credit towards those flights. I normally fly with Jetstar as it's generally cheaper and don't use Airpoints.

      • You can also use them in the store, but the store is pretty bad/ overpriced (be better with a cashback card)
