  • What a good deal! I ordered two lots haha.

  • Just a note that these are the Malaysian made Pringles. IMO they're horrible :(.

    • Where else are they made? Just curious.

      • The USA. If you search "australia pringles malaysia" you'll see a lot of disgruntled customers.

        • Do you know these are malaysia made or just an assumption? AUS have only recently got the news ones(ie not in 2015) and the new ones are smaller sizes(ie not 161g)

        • @Teckiwi: I called and asked where they were made. Maybe the person messed up, as yes I'm pretty sure the new ones are less than 161g.

I suggest someone else contact them to clarify.

        • @midastouch: Countdown sell pringles in 161g tubes.

    • I guess if the Malaysia plant was already producing early 2015 they could indeed be. Isn't all NZ/AUS/Asia stock Malaysia produced now due to the US based capacity issues?

  • These look like a nice price too, need to order enough to justify the shipping costs.

    • "Allens yummy gummy sweets. Orange and berry jelly's with a soft centre. 5 packets x 72g (each packet approx 12 sweets). Best before March 2014 but perfect to eat."

March 2014?? Has anyone tried them and tell us that its okay??? :)

      • but perfect to eat.

going to trust them on that lol

        • It will be rather pointless if you're in the hospital bed (or worst)!

        • @footy7:

          or worst

          worse

        • @footy7: If you can survive truckloads of pepsi without any stays in that hospital bed then you can survive some gone of gummy sweets ;)

yeah but them Pepsi are less than a year old :)

  • oh dude, i have already gained weight from that Warehouse Kit Kat/chips and chocolate deal from last week…

  • I Will Collect or Arrange My Own Courier

Possible way to get shipping cheaper?

My order Gotta spread that shipping cost, right? ; )

Order paid for by the team at Choice Cheapies =D

      Nice, enjoy!

Wouldn't worry about the dates on these things, they last forever.. Opened a 6 year old tin the other day, the same as the day they were purchased.

      • Exactly, if they were airtight there's a very good chance they are still edible and fine. Pringles have a shelf life of 15 months, that's before any noticeable changes(taste/texture) should happen to the product and stored under ideal conditions(ie not too hot/humid) they will last significantly longer.

If I lived in Auckland I would be buying a bunch, South Island shipping kills it for me.

You only got 14 packets of pringles? I'm going to get 28 :P

  • My order so far, still not quite sure how those Cheekies are going to taste.

  • seems the bb date has been updated from 2015 to 2016, edited title/description.

    • great! wasnt keen on an item that has expired in 2015 but i'll buy some now :)

    • I ordered mine before they updated the date. Mine have just arrived and the best before is May 2016.

I'm no Pringle expert, but they taste like normal Pringles to me.

      • the new ones look different, see this image

        https://www.reddit.com/r/australia/comments/4qvsjp/new_and_i…

      • Did you get a tracking number or did it just turn up.

        • Just turned up. Now Couriers - could be different outside of Auckland though.

        • @Sam91: Cheers. Wondering how big the parcel will be containing 42 tubes of pringles.

        • @ClipIt:
They're in the original Pringles boxes. So you'l most likely get 3 boxes bound together.

This is the deal of the week, hands down. Not sure why it's lacking votes.

        • +1

@Sam91: Think that the shipping kills the deal for most people unless they order a lot or live in Auckland.

        • +2

          @Sam91:

Shipping cost outside Auckland as ClipIt pointed out plus the first day of it being assumed it was 2015 stock because of the description. Often food deals get massive clicks but not many votes which is odd.

          @Teckiwi:

Was about to post a comment echoing these thoughts - the old expiry date was a bit too old for me to + vote. Now the deal has been updated I've placed an order.

Shipping is a bit average however I ordered enough to justify the $10.

    Expired, link now 404s.

Lollies Online called to say they could only deliver 3/4 of my boxes, they're replacing the other ones with some reduced fat ones tho, happy with their customer service.

    • When did you order? Today?

      • Late last night.

        • Think I beat you then. Ordered 3 x 14 at about 5pm.

        • @ClipIt:

I ordered a fairly large quantity, he said they had a lot of orders on Friday which had hit their stock.

          Cheapies effect.

        • @asmcar:

Ha, probably a good thing, clearing out old stock.

    • +1

      reduced fat

      Pringles

      Interesting dilemma…

      • Haha I know… but I ordered a few boxes so it's only 2 of them that are reduced fat.

      • Funnily enough the reduced fat ones weren't expired, Best Before 12/16 so a few months left.

I got a mix of 06/16 and 08/16 expiry boxes.

  • These arrived on Monday and they're so addictive. Kinda wishing I'd ordered more!
