    Only if Joe wins

    • Cheers, wasn't paying attention to the ad.

  • Wouldn't normally post this until Joe actually wins, if he doesn't win whats going to happen to this deal :)

I'm no genius, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the deal will get expired.

    • +1

He's paying $1.05 at the TAB. I think this deal is fairly safe.

      • 2 for $4.95 is the sweet spot right there. I find that 2 for $7 is abit much :)

+1 vote for the tagline :)

  • [off topic] I'm so confused, why do Clipit's comments on bk deals always get destroyed (negative)?

  • OT I guess but how much do medium soft drink and fries cost at most normal Auckland Burger Kings? As with most NZ fast food chains, BK doesn't publish a full price menu online and even in there stores I couldn't work out the prices, probably you have to ask when ordering. Wondering how much the BK Chicken/Whopper you can get for doing the receipt surveys actually cost.

    • +1

Make any purchase at Burger King, fill out the survey using the code on your receipt. Present the coupon in store. To redeem the free burger you need to buy a regular fries and regular drink ($6.20), or a large fries and large drink ($7).

      Regular BK Chicken Meal = $6.20 - usually $9.90
      Large BK Chicken Meal = $7 - usually $10.90

      Regular Whopper Meal = $6.20 - usually $9.70
      Large Whopper Meal = $7 - usually $10.70

      From my deal here

That was 7 months ago, prices may have changed.

      • Thanks. What I expected then. Not bad compared to a meal but not worth it if you generally just buy burgers like me.

Edit: Actually it's mildly cheaper since Whoppers are $6.90 according to the menu of $6.75 according to what I paid & Chicken burgers I think are the same and you do get the chips plus free refills, so may be worth it if you normally pay full price but I admit I rarely do that either.

Place a bet on Joe's opponent, that way, you win either way ;)

LOL, if I worked at BK id make everyone pay normal price as JP should have been disqualified for that disgraceful move.

not his first illegal punch that went unpunished either

    • Maybe so, but the dance around after getting hit? Pathetic. Apparently he did the same last fight.

One thing can't be denied, JP was all over him.

      • In the future if BK do a similar promotion to this, should I post it before Joe wins (like this post) or wait until he actually wins first?

        • Well as long as you have all the information, it's fine being posted before the date. It's when you get posts like "massive Farmers sale" a week before with no information that it will be removed. The post can always be expired if Joe didn't win, for example.

  • Does this work with the app say (4x4.95)+4 fries or $20 spend and + $10 gold benefit whooper deal?

    • I'm hoping to get 2x Chicken Fries + Free Ploughman's Steakhouse burger from some app rewards I've been saving up for a while. All for $4.95.

The staff in BK are used to me coming and getting the most possible for the smallesta amount of money (using multiple offers at once). They give me strange looks but they don't stop me.

      • Yeah, we have only one store in town. I went in three times in one week (redeemed two Free Ploughman's Steakhouse burgers total), the same person served me all three times, on the third day she was giving me looks like O.o you've managed to spend $80 on BK in two days..

      • Oh wow you guys are good, i downloaded the app but what do you with it do you purchase it online and show it to them? Can you use it in conjuction with multiple deals on it and this two for one chicken strips for a $20 spend to qualify for a gold reward?

        • Just mention it to the POS staff member I believe, to earn points make sure to give them the "Earn points" code from the app (1 purchase must be at least $5 to earn the gold reward with a $20 spend, this is 4.95). Because this deal is 2 for $4.95 you'll need to spend $20.95 to get the gold reward (unless you pay in cash ;) rounding would make it $5 which means you can then buy 15 frozen cokes and get that gold reward of yours :3)

        • @Rowjo: Oh wow thanks for the great reply :) that clears that up but instead of the frozen cokes you use coupon 5 (9.95), coupon 7 (6.50) and 2 chickenfrys for $4.95 all in one order ($21.4) which will equal the gold reward.

        • @kyle: just remember you redeem app points in a seperate transaction from earning them and it's with any purchase.

        • @kyle: Also, the POS staff are only meant to let you use one coupon each (locally they're mainly fine with 2+)

  • I go into BK thinking "two boxes, awesome!", then after the first box I realise I don't need the second lol. I've fed two homeless people with this deal so far : P
