  • Got denied price match at Warehouse Stationery on the P9 lite. Not impressed as I stopped in store earlier and was told it should be fine. Went back later in the day and was made to wait 20min to be told they can't do it as.

1st reason: Heathcotes have no stock - yes they do

2nd reason: Not the same model number - are you sure

3rd reason: It's online only - ok whatever goodbye

    • Exactly why we don't allow price match prices as deals: https://www.cheapies.nz/comment/17494/redir

      • Yes might try different warehouse stationery tomorrow if that fails try Noel leemings with $10 discount code and fly buys.

    • That's ridiculous - sorry to hear that. I've had Warehouse Stationery Price Match and cut 100's of dollars off before without them even consulting a manager.

Their policy doesn't even exclude online only deals (The wording is quite broad) sounds like they were going for any reason they could muster. Which store was it? Will avoid in the future.

Good luck for tomorrow, report back!

Yes it seemed they started grasping at straws which lead me to just walk out. New Plymouth store. If they don't want to price match I don't have a huge issue with it I was just a little pissed I made the trip to get it and wasted an hour.

      • No luck at second warehouse stationery and Noel leemings, both stated as online only they would not price match. Picked up the Huawei GR5 Smartphone from Noel leemings for $289.

  • Merged from Huawei P9 Lite Gold for $344 @ Heathcotes

Huawei P9 Lite Gold for $344 is great price. The closest offer is from PB Tech for $399 and this is steal at this price. Delivery is only $5 in most parts of NZ.

The specs of the phone are great at this price and the phone has been very popular.
    The specs are -
    5.2" IPS screen
    1.7GHz quad + 2.0GHz quad core processor
    13MP main camera & 8MP front camera
    Memory: 16GB

Good deal to show our new PriceSpy integration. At the top right on desktop, or just under the deal on the mobile site. So far just linking to the product page and showing the review stars, but looking into reviews and price graph options as well.

Nice to meet you the other day too mate, thanks for coming along.

      • Same here. Delighted to see you the other day. I can visualize your face now on the conversations.

        • Ha! Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing!

          • @Kiwi: Ofcourse good. You are quite relax

I did manage to get warehouse stationary in wellington to beat it by 5%, but it took a rude salesperson and then an email complaint to head office to get it. They got the salesperson to call and apologise, called it a misunderstanding and agree to honor the deal. Not sure if others will have the same luck.

    • Haha my bad, was too interested in the Pricespy feature to spot the dupe.
