  • I guess the WELCOME5 coupon is indeed limited to a single use per account?

    • Yes, but no restrictions on multiple accounts.

  • Yeah was wondering that. They could of course stop or cancel your order if it's the same card or PayPal (or even billing address although that would affect families and flatmates). But guess it's not worth their bother, since too few people use multiple accounts and for many items they're probably still making enough profit. Particularly since they aren't paying commissions etc online.

Bought a sandwich maker during last weeks anniversary sale. Actually from NL who I got to price match since I had a gift card. Just occured to me yesterday I could have used this to get it from HN for $5 less (was over $25). Too late now, haven't actually opened it but price has gone up so it's not worth it.

Anyway good to know for future use. One more difficulty trying to use my NL gift card ;-) At least it doesn't expire. Thought it would be easy to use due to price matching but then Dick Smith started to have their constant coupon deals. And of course WHS also have 5% off when they Price Match (which I semi forgot about).

    • That's far too much effort to go through to fix something that at the end of the day is probably going to make them money through increased trade anyway.

Don't worry, spend enough time around here and the first thing you will check for is whether WHS will beat the price, or whether it's cheaper -$5 from HN, or whether there is a store on PriceSpy with a better deal, it becomes second nature, because, well, if the retailers want to offer something, may as well oblige if it saves a few $$.
