    Landing page, expires 4th January.

    Perfect time to get this to combine with all the deals available at the moment!

    • Thanks for the link. Yeah so many deals going on ae

  • Bit of a wait on the gift card, still an awesome deal.

    From TOC:
    The gift card will be mailed to the main cardholder's postal address within 30 business days after the 3rd of February 2017.

  • Good for 1M mortgage from asb but not so good for warehouse money 1.5k :(

    • Probably a compliment.

    • Don't understand your statement..?

        He was approved by ASB for a 1M mortgage, but he was declined by Warehouse Money for a 1.5K card.

        • Ah right. Thats a little silly of them.

  • I just got my warehouse money card on friday. Missed out on this promo. Rang customer service, and they won't retroactively issue these. There's nothing to stop me from closing my account and reapplying for a new card though.

    • No, If you do so you have to wait for another 6 months before you can reapply!

      • Probably about when this promo will come up again.

        • I assume he wants the Warehouse Visa Red card for 5% discounts and the current promotions as mentioned by Clipit. If so he'll be missing out on 5% discounts for 6 months.

        • @bigbosssnake:

          Yea, fair.

      • Ah didn't know that.

        • Well that's what they told me the last time. Same thing happened to me, i asked about cancelling the card and reapplying the promo code and they mentioned I won't be able to reapply for the next 6 months.

  • If you close a credit card down it will badly effect your credit rating. Beware!!

    • Will or could?

      • WILL, from my understanding. You could check r/personalfinance on reddit, they'll know

        • will

          although as long as you haven't destroyed your credit, and don't miss payments regularly etc, it really wont be a big deal, also if you already have a mortgage it isn't such a big deal as long as your credit isn't already trash. @mikeperro1, right?

    • I'm skeptical about that ae. I closed a cc down just recently Cuz I couldn't justify keeping it. I actually do wonder if that'll affect my "credit rating"

      • You can request free credit reports from all the major companies (Veda, D&B etc) if you're curious.

        • Also instantly here: https://www.creditsimple.co.nz/ it's a D&B run site.

        • @Shaw: get 610 not good enough for Warehouse Money

          @lasc:

          Far out, I'm below that (Not through bad credit, just lack of need for any) so could explain why they don't even want to look at me lol. Amex didn't care though.

        • @Shaw:

          I'm around 700, but then checking the history on D&B there's only been one check in history in 2012.

          My Veda one seems to be the one most used by companies but they don't really operate on a 'score' basis from memory.

          @Shaw:

          Mine is 622 and I've never taken out a loan or anything.

          I was declined by Warehouse Money as well, based on my low income (student) I reckon. Or maybe they sensed I was only after the $50 gift card : )

        • +1

          @Sam91:

          Maybe they just set a blanket rejection for users on here lol

        • @asmcar: Veda has score but company can adjust rules for score calculation. So its depends of organisation.

  • Anyone in Chch apply for this card recently? Its become tougher to get one, they want a certified copy of id.
    Is there somewhere in Chch that will provide this service for free?

    • Yes they needed it when I applied, when they first introduced the card. Justice of Peace would be ideal, look it up online and call them to see whether they are willing to do so,certifying it. Or if you know anyone who is a charted accountant, that is possible too.

      Police can do it too.

  • Just find a JP at the local District Court house.
