    I know someone with one of these. It works well in autumn and spring.
    In winter it turns rock solid. In summer, unless you have a modern insulated house which keeps the heat out, it'll sometimes melt so much the butter falls into the water.

    Bring back butter conditioners in fridges imo.

      I am afraid, i might not agree with your whole statement.
      If you use butter bell crock, it keepthe butter perfect and spreadable.

        I used a crockery based one. The butter was not perfect and spreadable.
