Looking for Cheap Flights between NZ and San Francisco 2017

  One thing you can setup are alerts on sites like Google Flights and SkyScanner.

  Other option, if time isn't a consideration as much as price, could be to keep an eye on the OzBargain Airfares page. Aussie usually get some pretty good prices to the US, and getting to Aussie isn't too expensive if booked in advance.

  Other than that, Grabaseat sometimes do decent deals about 6 months out, but rarely, and it seems the booking dates keep getting further and further away.

  Flight center usually runs good deals at their travel expo. I'm waiting for that to book some asia flights.

  Hi,

  yes try Skyscanner.co.nz to setup alerts for fares.

  I have seen that flights to Los Angeles are a lot cheaper than San Francisco and domestic flights in US are pretty cheap. So this could be an option that you fly direct to LA and take domestic to SF from there. You can save a lot like this if not too hectic for you.

  For example -

  AKL to LA return in Jan 2017 is about $1k & Domestic return from LA to SF is $200 = $1200

  Filght from AKL to SF are about $1700 - So you are clrealy saving $500 in Jan travel.

  Also keep an eye on special events run by travel companies.
