Spotted this looking for phones for someone. It's a pricespy all time low for this device and I think it's a good pick.
While it's not top end, it's a good mid range device that unlike the Samsung Galaxy AJC78 Ace Plus Deluxe should actually see some OS updates - with Android 7.0/7.1 due out very shortly for it. Sony doesn't excessively skin the OS that much beyond standard Google Android and doesn't load up on too much bloatware compared to other OEMs. While it's not a Nexus/Pixel experience, less crap generally means less lag.
It has a camera module which is similar to/the same as the Xperia X Performance/Xperia Z5/XZ etc.
