Nice deal mate, but what is the URL?

    Nevermind, have updated it.

Any estimate how much the shipping would be using, say, Youshop?

  • I wouldn't trust anyone to ship a hard drive. They're fragile things.

Also note you'll have big problems with RMAs if the drive fails.

That is true, however they still have to get from A to B somehow, via plane or boat. Generally aslong as the head is parked, and they are not spinning, they are a lot more resilient.

You could probably get away with just sending them to Aus if they fail. http://www.seagate.com/www-content/support-content/warranty/… but I can't confirm whether that is the case or not.

  • This is YouShop - https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/youshop NZPost runs it. Last time I ordered a WD 4TB MyCloud from Amazon it cost $40 to deliver. I saved big time. If I was not fully loaded up in the HD department I would have bought a couple of these.

If anyone if interested, it's a small thing to find out what the international warranty status of these are from Newegg via eBay - just contact the seller and ask a question.
