Purchase a selected Canon product between 27 October 2016 and 24 December 2016 and we'll give you cash back via redemption.

    • Their facebook is advertising this:
Purchase any eligible Canon printer between the 16th January until the 17th April from a Canon authorised dealer or the Canon store and receive cashback via redemption.

  • Can you link their facebook showing that text thanks.

  • Ah good one thanks. How do you know its $80?

Just bought online from Warehouse Stationery ($99), free shipping for orders over $50. Submitted the cash back deal as per the site, and the claim form hasn't been updated to support the new dates so won't submit unless the date is 24/12/2016. I've emailed them to let them know.

  • According to the website, the cashback only applies to purchases made between 27 October and 24 December 2016. See: https://www.canon.co.nz/products/specials/canon-summer-cash-…

  • How can we be sure the Cashback is $80 for this printer until they update the form? I'm guessing it will be the same, but it could be the Cashback value for the period up to 24 Dec 2016 and may possibly change for the new period?

    • It hasn't been updated?

    • I just went there and its still to the 24th Dec. What did you see as updated? Not getting this deal until its 100% ok to get the cashback.

  • As it stands this deal does not work and should be changed until canon sort their poopoo out.

  • The printer is out of stock online. I was able to price match it through noel leemings though for $99 aswell. If anyone is still looking to get this printer. Also if u r worried about cashback issue, noel leeming clearly states $80 cashback on their site, so if anything does go wrong you can probably return the printer back.

I went in store to buy one at warehouse stationary and they gave me an official looking flyer about the cashback. There were apparently 12 printers in stock at the time.
    Here are the images:

  • I still have not receive the Canon cashback for a printer purchased last November. Brother, on the other hand, I have recently received their cashback for a printer purchased just 2 weeks ago. WTH.

    • Canon take ageeeeeees! Probably not helped by the holiday break.

  • Crap, I just bought some ink refill for my last canon cashback deal printer… Can't believe we live in an age where buying ink costs more than buying a printer….

    • Well the new printers only come with 1/4 filled ink cartridges. They are known as starter cartridges and the amount of ink you get is different to the retail ink cartridge sold separately.

  • noel leeming online just price matched for me
and the free shipping code still works HAPPYNOELYEAR

    • how'd you get live chat? i can't find the link to them on the site anywhere?

Using an adblokcer? They can block it from appearing.

        • yeah checked the box and also disabled but nope, downloaded a vanilla browser and tried it too :(

If buying for Noel or WS, pay with warehouse money, and if you spend over $200 (ie get two printers and something random) youll get a $20 gift card

  • Just so you guys know, Noel leemings only have 1 year warranty. Warehouse stationary comes with 3 year warranty. Thats the main difference i found out after i got it price matched from noel leemings.

    • The Canon website says 36 months

      MAXIFY Printers

      36 months

"The best way to activate your warranty is to simply register your Canon product online at MyCanon and upload your purchase receipt. This will ensure your proof of purchase is kept safe and secure if you ever need to make a Manufacturer’s Warranty claim."

    • Local consumer laws should cover you for 36 months

"Purchase a selected Canon PIXMA or Maxify printer between 16 January 2017 and 17 April 2017 and we'll give you cash via redemption.
Redemption via online claim form will be available soon."

  • Pretty poor form of them not to update their website, more importantly the form before launching this promotion. I've had to email my claim with proof of purchase through manually to [email protected].

    • Online redemption has been updated today

    • You should also prepare for a looong wait for your cashback from Canon…

      • Mines been approved and will apparenty be processed within 28days

  • Warehouse Stationery have it back in stock now

  • Picked one of these up yesterday @ warehouse stationary in Royal Oak - it is a big unit. Thanks to the OP

  • Claim was validated this morning by Canon. Now to wait 28 days.. Surprisingly, haven't had the machine delivered by Warehouse Stationery yet.

  • I ordered from Noel Leeming Tuesday and it was delivered Wednesday. Did another price match yesterday for my dad and it's on it's way

  • Cashback came through today. I did online redemption on the 18th
