For the next 24 hours, you can buy the Sygic navigation software (lifetime license) for Android and IOS.
Australia and New Zealand (lifetime) maps and traffic 20€ (~$32 NZD) [Normally 80€]
Australia and New Zealand (lifetime) maps only 17€ (~$27 NZD) [Normally 50€]
World (lifetime) maps and traffic 30€ (~$48 NZD) [Normally 100€]
World (lifetime) maps only 20€ (~$32 NZD) [Normally 80€]
This is about $5 USD cheaper than last time for the maps and traffic. You can pay in Euro, USD or GBP. Euro seems to work out slightly cheaper.
You buy the lifetime IOS license by downloading the free app, selecting the Sygic store and purchasing your desired plan.
For those who aren't interested in Sygic, you can use:
Waze (free)
Google maps (free)
Apple maps (free)
Tomtom (free for first 80 or so kms)
Here(free)
Sygic is fairly well respected in the IOS App Store (2247 people rated it an average of 4.1 out of 5). Has nice features like lane guidance, speed cameras, crowd sourced radar information and live traffic (if you include it in your lifetime purchase).
Main difference between Google is speed cameras, speeding warning, which lane to stay, sharp bends to railway tracks, red light cameras, setting voices (Homer Simpson, Snoop Dog, etc.)
Is it possible to buy Sygic now and transfer an Android license to iOS later? At the moment I've got an Android phone, but I plan to switch to iPhone 8 when it comes out.
