  • These are in store too?

  • No sorry. Online prices only valid until 07-Aug-2017.
You probably won't get this price anywhere in NZ!

    • +1

Yea, the price is pretty good. Although, after adding shipping, it isn't much different to The Warehouse. That might be a better option for some users outside of Auckland.

  • How is Warehouse cheaper?
We give flat rate shipping fee for any amount of shopping which Warehouse doesn't!

    Auckland
    Our price x2 + $5 shipping to Auckland = $24.98.

    North Island
    Our price x2 + $8 shipping to North Island = $27.98

    North Island
    Our price x2 + $10 shipping to North Island = $29.98

    Warehouse is $28.99 + $3 for collecting in store or $28.99 + $5 Auckland = $33.99

    • Actually the warehouse have them for 27.85 and free shipping with the code FDREF28429. So only your Auckland price above is better.

    • +2

Yea, I probably should have explained. There have been near constant The Warehouse free shipping codes over the last few months. At the point where I don't even factor shipping into their prices when looking at them anymore. Not suggesting your company has the capacity to do that, just that it is what they are doing.

It's also $27.85 for the 8 pack. Your deal is pretty good for Auckland users, and the price is sharp, but it's just the fact that there is no option to purchase in store (In this instance) that makes it hard to beat the larger retailers.

We shop at RTC every week, buying a number of items, as the prices are often cheaper (My wife is on talking terms with the cashiers). I think if you focused on posting items that are available in stores, it'd probably be a bit more popular. The other option could be to have a "Click and collect" process for $2 or $3 where the items are put onto the freight to a particular store with other stock and then a user is notified about it when it's available. Not sure if you have the capacity to offer that either, but it works for some others.

    • People nowdays are used to free or cheap shipping.
There are plenty of things on your website i would buy, but im not paying for shipping

      • Agree 100%. Great product absolutely wasted by ridiculous shipping costs. How do you justify $10 to ship 4 razors?

  • Service Temporarily Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

    Product been pulled?

    • Seems to be working ok now, don't think it'd give that error if it had been removed.

  • Shipping to S Island kills this deal.

    • Totally understand. A lot small business don't ship to South island because of the shipping cost charged by courier companies. Warehouse, Briscoes have large warehouses throughout the country which is the reason they may have cheaper or $5 shipping for small items in North and South Island. We are too small to be compared to Warehouse, Briscoes etc.

  • If they are the ones from Poland then they are absolutely rubbish and I would not go near them. If they are from New Zealand or Australia they are very superior quality.

    • Good advice, how do you know where they're from pre post. So the ones from Poland will rust on first use, or worse, already used :)

  • I got 14 Mach3 razors for $25 (disposable handles with the normal cartridges on them) from the Clearance Shed - Hamilton (Te Rapa) a couple months ago. Made in Germany and seem at least as good as the NZ one's. Imported by Proctor and Gamble. Still stocked them last time I looked. Also, have got cartridges from the Warehouse last year stacking Gillette discount with 20% off day.

  • OK, i ordered some stuff from these guys on friday, paid the stupid $8 postage and still havn't even got an email saying its been sent, so no tracking number. Most places i buy from in AK that offer free shipping I would have the product by now. crap service

    • also as a side note, there seems to be some limit on shipping, cant get more than 12 protein drinks? totally sticking to the places that ship for free

      • Yes we limit stock per order on certain stock just like any other business. Haven't you noticed this with other business?
As mention - there is no such thing as 'Free shipping'. Business add prices to products to cover free shipping. Please contact [email protected] and we'll ensure all your concerns are resolved.

        • i went into the shop and asked if there was a limit and they said no, wtf get your facts right. i know yr a budget shop but yr customer service is shit

        • @quote:

Volume of shipping comes into effect for online orders vs customer taking their own groceries from the store.

    • All orders when picked up by NZ Couriers automatically get a tracking number in the email. All orders are tracked and signature required.
Any missing, lost, damaged orders get a full refund.

There is no such thing as 'free shipping' - business add shipping cost to the item. We don't. Our product prices are extremely low. $8 fee is a flat fee so you can buy as much as you like delivered to urban or rural areas. Please contact [email protected] and we'll ensure all your concerns are resolved.

so i order a $1 chocolate bar fro the warehouse (which is usually $2) and it arrives in my letterbox and how do i pay for that shipping? it cost me zero

        • We are nowhere near Warehouse or Briscoes.

        • To be fair, that isn't the normal offer from The Warehouse. It's only because of their coupons that we are able to get them for that price (Which fluctuate a bit). These guys have a handful or stores versus hundreds. It's hard to compare.

I do think they would be better off offering a permanent free shipping over $100, but that's not my decision.
