The amount of movies & tv shows available to NZ is not as big as what is available to the US or UK.

However, Netflix determines your region by your IP address (e.g. VPN) or DNS Changer (e.g. Getflix). So if you are not happy with the selection NZ has to offer just change your region via the above tools to US, UK, Mexico etc.
The advantage of signing up to NZ Netflix is that you will be billed in NZD. However, the basic price for Netflix US is $7.99 USD ($10.46NZD). Standard Price is $8.99 USD ($11.77NZD) and $11.99 USD ($15.69NZD) for Premium.
