    do i have to buy extra hardware for this? like a dvr box? my tv has built in freeview.

      If your TV is a smart-tv check your TVs app store for "plex". Otherwise, yes, you probably need another device.

      If you have a console (Xbox One/Ps4) you can download the Plex app
