Does anyone know of a small USB 3.0 reader for these that will give the max speed?
The shitty USB adapters that come with them are terrible and read/write at like 8 MiB/s.

  • there are also some good affordable options on https://www.nzgameshop.com/search/128gb/sort-price-low-high/…

if you prefer :) i've used nzgameshop for years shipping is from $1.99, just takes awhile to ship because its from the UK

U3 vs U1 cards. 80mbps write vs 20mbps write speeds. So not really, none of those cards there are really comparable at this price point.

  • What's the difference between this and the Evo select? green one, both are U3

  • Does anyone know how long it takes to ship?

it says Estimated delivery is 30-40 days, is this true?

Nah, they ship via china post which comes to nz and gets handed over to nzpost. Usually I get my micro sd cards in 1 week to 2 weeks max from the day the tracking says the item was shipped. Estimated delivery days is probably just there to protect them in case items get stuck in transit or something. Some sellers use other shipping methods which may be a lot slower but if it gets shipped with china post, its usually quite fast.

Should have mentioned in my original post but I brought one of these last time they were on sale at JB and can confirm the are 100% genuine, use mine everyday without any issues.

  • I bought a quadcopter off Joybuy recently for $30. They ended up sending the wrong item. I contacted their customer support. Oh boy it was terrible, after a lot of exchanging emails, them asking for absurd amounts of proof (video of me unboxing and pictures weren't enough, they wanted a "certificate of weight") they offered me an amazing $5 site coupon. After I refused, they said they would give me a whopping $8 site coupon and if I wanted a full refund, I would need to destroy the item and prove it to them.

So just be careful when dealing with these guys.

I'm in the process of a Paypal dispute to get my money back but never going to be shopping with them again.

    • Did you destroy it and get a refund. I have only purchased one item from them, and it never arrived. Bit of a hassle getting a refund, but eventually came though. But I lost on the currency exchange and charges the credit card company charges in currency conversion.

      • Lol no I didn't destroy it, I couldn't tell if they were being serious or not as that's a pretty insane thing to ask. So I simply said I would be escalating this to Paypal. The guy essentially didn't care.

Its weird how they are making such a big deal about a $30 item, whereas if I bought it off Gearbest or some other trusted Chinese website the process would've been so simple. Like I literally gave them a video showing the package with their label, un-boxed it to show the wrong item.

        • When I had a problem like this with amazon, where they sent me the wrong piece of clothing ($50 value), they refunded me straight away and let me keep it. Huge difference between customer service when compared to the USA.

        • Yeah pretty much, I agree.
BTW heads up, PAYPAL's Buyer protection policy is just terrible.

If you run into a situation like I did, Paypal will say you won the dispute, BUT you have to ship the item back at your own expense. Now I bought the item at $30, the shipping cost is roughly $30. Essentially no refund, seller wins either way! Buyer always loses when shopping with Paypal.

Mine just arrived(no sd adaptor included). A1 SD Bench on my S7 Edge shows Read 52.27 MB/s & Write 37.50MB/s.

  • Mine arrived. No adaptor to test speed, but I knew it didnt come with one. now i need to find an adaptor somewhere
