On the 16th and 17th of May entry to these two unique Wellington wildlife attractions is just a gold coin donation. I believe entry is usually $21 for an adult ticket (correct me if I am wrong, it may have increased), so a big saving of $20 per person.

      Rain and massive crowds, remember the jackets bro!

      I actually just went to Ueno Zoo in Tokyo during their free entry day as part of Golden Week, last week… That's the biggest mistake ever. Pretty much packed like sardines, everywhere. Would have been easier just to pay the $6 entry.

    great deal. kid was over the moon to be at the zoo saturday, the rain held off, but the cold didn't go away!
