Alright so moments after posting this, the Xiaomi LED Light's price had gone up from $1.04 to $8 so had to remove it :(

Really good and well worth for it's price! Based on comments at OzBargain, the Mi Band does seem to be genuine. Those who aren't aware of the Mi Band can learn more about it here
