Note if you want to get 100x more out of this game, I recommend modding it. Firstly getting NAM because it fixes so many of the bugs Maxis left in, along with additions on controlling the traffic network. There's also Australian modders like Deadwood at created some accurate Aussie retailers. Mattb325 created Emu Plains train station, Eastern Hill Fire Station and Pyrmont Fire Station. When installing mods (plugins), it's not like installing a mod on Steam. Many of the plugins you install will have other plugins you need to install for it to work properly called dependencies. They're always linked both in a readme file (which has instructions to install) or on the site. You must download these for the plugin to work properly or you will get big brown ugly boxes through your lots. Rarely of those dependencies might have dependencies of their own, so it's good to install everything one by one or you'll get overwhelmed.
