So, remember when I told you about Spark's roaming packs? Well Spark has matched Skinny and doubled their roaming data from 500MB to 1GB! .

They are excellent value in comparison with 2Degrees, which commits highway robbery on roaming. If you are only going somewhere for a short trip it can make more sense than getting a local SIM, particularly if there's a language barrier. If we're talking about Japan, SKorea, USA and Canada, roaming might be cheaper in the short term because of their pretty high upstart SIM costs. Also pretty good deal for a country hopping trip. Plus there's also the niceness of being able to keep your NZ number while overseas for business or 2FA.
