I phoned PB Tech about the tradein promotion they had on their page and the dude said it wasn't the IMEI number that needs to be entered and its the serial number but all comes out to be wrong. Told me to go to the samsung store to ask and Samsung store told me theres nothing they can do as well…
Has anyone been able to correctly get the IMEI to go through for a tradein?

I knew that Samsung tend to do big value bundles to offset the eyewatering sticker price, but I didn't expect BOGOF phones.

Gifts should always work as if you purchased them. The free phone that you get will be covered under warranty from samsung if in the case PB Tech decides not to do anything for you.

If someone doesn't have a mate wanting one, can't really blame them for flicking off the second unit to reduce their own cost. Even @650, it's about three times what I pay for phones. Just food for thought.
Yes, but scalping one (or both!) for more than you paid for it is nothing more than simple greed. Even if you sold the second one for $300, since technically it is "second hand", you would still be getting your phone for cheaper than retail.

Either that or PBTech / resellers are making more than 50% profit on each phone at normal prices, so they can afford to give half of them away. ;-)
Non-Apple phones have very low margins, especially Huawei, as they are jam packed with features not found in an iPhone. Also, it is not good business practice to have $1k phones just sitting in the cabinet for a period of time, hence the clearance.
Maybe those who wanted one and missed out should try "price matching" guarantees at the other tech resellers. ;-)
(Unfortunately the small print of those usually disallows such special deal pricing.)Competitor website says out of stock so I give it a 1% chance of succeeding. Unless you show them an earlier screen grab then your chances rises to 30%
