Works out cheaper per litre than the Magnatec deal at supercheap and comes with bonus engine flush. This is good stuff and is API SN and ACEA A3/B4 certified.

Nothing wrong with them. The only thing is that if you're using it on a really old or irregularly serviced engine then it might expose some weaknesses, but it shouldn't do any actual damage itself. It's also helpful where some manufacturers recommend a very long oil change interval like BMWs 25,000kms which is obviously too long.

Beyond that it's probably not needed if you've regularly changed your oil every 5-10k.
Interesting read; I cannot help being skeptical of the source since it is an oil manufacturer's blog. It probably won't "hurt" the engine but my impression is that it's probably unnecessary to flush every oil change. The benefits they describe seems negligible at best, given the cost of the product. However, in this case it's free!
Photos are interesting, looks like they cleaned the head after the flush, if you look around the top of the head even where the gasket was it has been clean, this part has no oil and its where the rocker cover goes.
My understanding is that engine flushes are not necessary in modern vehicles (in fact some manufacturers advise against it depending on the model). Very good deal, nice to see Repco hitting back!
