Gaspy seems to indicate that Z, BP, Caltex and Mobil are the cheapest in Canterbury today: 207.9 - 10c with various cards = 197.9/L

Not anymore. No minimum spend to earn discount.
Pretty sure the no-minimum is only when redeeming the savings, there's still a $40 minimum to earn the discount; otherwise everyone will fill up with the minimum delivery which is 2L and then stack it like crazy.
@Senior Mouse: No minimum spend when "use it" on the spot, but $40 minimum to accumulate the discount. ie. everyone with AA Smartfuel gets at least 6c/l discount everyday when fill up and "use it".

@briii12: As soon as they announced the no minimum my line of thinking was the exact same as yours; unfortunately after reading their site my plan to get free fuel by stacking discounts from filling the car up 2L 20 times was bust. :)
Gull should be doing their discount day thingy on Thursday (end of the month & long weekend) so try not to fill up today. If they don't, Caltex will still have 10c off on Thurs.
Just wondering if you are in Christchirch is caltex pumped a better deal now compared to AA because it accumulate + give you flybuys point?
