  • Do you actually have to use your ANZ Visa? They had other codes recently that were for paying via specific methods that just worked for everyone

    • The first 6 numbers of your visa indicate the card type and bank. So presumably it only works when it sees those numbers for ANZ.

      None since they have fixed most of the pricing "bugs"…LOL

      • Yes I have got a lot of good deals over the last couple of months and mainly because of price bugs . There are still a few bargains to be found especially when the retailers promotions clash with TheMarkets the promotions .The problem with TheMarket Is there a return and cancellation service is diabolical.I have to travel 40 km to the nearest agent or will have to pay for postage.They should include prepaid postage to go with every purchase just like the farmers and Kathmandu etc.and not to mention the tracking system which gives you no information of where or when your product is arriving.

        • My understanding is that if the goods have a fault, the retailer pays for postage under the CGA. Also I would have thought that if you buy from a retailer on it, you can then return it to that retailer.

          • @nzmax: No you deal with Themarket only for returns .

            • @pdevonporf: The Market still has to provide return shipping costs if the product is deemed faulty.

              • @Dunno: My comments were based around change of mind or didn't fit returns as that's what I have experienced.One return took about three weeks to resolve with me having to follow up and the other return was about 10 days before the money is back in my account. Cancellations have taken three or four days before I got confirmation .TheMarket was a very attractive platform, coupled with coupons and further retailer discounts, But it's getting harder to find any good deals.

                • @pdevonporf: Okay, I guess if it is change of mind, then that is fair enough then.

                  • @nzmax: I'm doing a return at the moment for a faulty item. I emailed the retailer who told me all communication had to go through The Market.
                    Emailed The Market who emailed the retailer, and they are sending a replacement. I have to drop the old one back to a Drop off point. Took 2 weeks to resolve.
