I bought the Iphone 11 through Vodafone the other week, 64gb was $1049, and 128gb was $1149 ($300 off promotion)

        • Was the deal with a plan? I am sure we are not comparing apples with apples.
          Excuse the pun ;)

          • @salealert: Yes but it was a pay monthly plan, i cancelled within 4 days and paid $3 for those few days

            • @Sadie: Sorry, but how does that work? I mean isn't the plan mandatory for a 12 or 24 month term?
Just want to know if the phone can be had without the pesky plan.

              • @roshanNZ: Yeah, surely there were early termination charges?

                • @FireWhenReady: No early termination charges because it was a pay monthly contract.

                  • @Sadie: I can confirm that you can do this. The catch is if you buy the phone on interest free credit terms then if you terminate your contract early you need to pay the balance off straight away

                    • @rt: Guessing they will get rid of that loophole when they catch up with it, as it must be costing them money when people do that.

        • @Esawers: How do you know these deals are on? Would have loved to have got that. Just need to keep checking the VF website?

  • The words to look out for is
open term plan. Only 30 days notice to cancel the plan.
