Wife wanted a sewing machine. So began my cost saving research.

Spotlight will beat any price by 10%. Despite it being on their website and instore some staff arent aware of this.

The first time i did this they just matched the price of the competitor. I had to remind them of the 10% pricebeat!

Spotlight terms state that it needs to have a NZ physical store and ship to a NZ address.

Heathcotes are currently selling this same machine for $288. See pricespy

This brings the product down at Spotlightto $259.20. You can only get the pricebeat by going into a spotlight store.

Brother are doing a cashback sceme until 8th March of $50. Bringing machine price down to $209.20

A similar pricebeat exists at warehouse stationery which also sell this machine, but their terms of the offer were worse than Spotlight.

Good sewing machine, got this at the warehouse online in 2015 for $250 with $100 cashback good deal seeing spotlight and others still selling at $200+.

I purchased this back in 2018 when they were still offering $100 cashback for this. Ended up paying $119 after the cashback. Pretty decent machine.
