LG 42L Microwave - $247, Logitech MX Keys Keyboard - $169 @ Noel Leeming via The Market

90

Noel Leeming has started their Queen's Birthday sale and these things stuck out to me once coupon discounts from The Market were factored in.

LG 42 Litre Inverter Microwave (Black Stainless Steel) - $246.99 after $60 off coupon
This is the lowest price ever for Consumer's top rated microwave from a couple of years ago.
Note: The silver stainless steel model is also available for $299, so you could toss a ~$1 item into your cart to get it over the $300 threshold so it, too can qualify for the $60 coupon discount

Logitech MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard - $169.99 after $30 off coupon
Also the lowest price ever for Logitech's top-of-the-line typing keyboard (it has a metal chassis, so is heavy for a keyboard, and very durable).

Nutribullet 900W Black Mega Pack - $82 after $10 off coupon
Great price for this set.

    • Got the breadmaker thanks.

  • "Also the lowest price ever for Logitech's top-of-the-line typing keyboard/tank"
    Which one is that?

    • What do you mean?

      • Do you have the MX keys Plug and do you recommend it? Is using themarket safe? have not used it before

        • I don't, but it has received good reviews. It's been on my watchlist for awhile, so I've been trying to justify spending that much on a keyboard.

The Market is run by The Warehouse Group, so it's totally safe.

        • Bought the MX Keys on this deal. Great purchase for me, as I have three computers connected, and this saves me using a KVM switch.
The keyboard is really solid, and surprisingly heavy. Can’t speak for battery life yet, but it’s still over 60% after two days with the backlight on. The backlight is magical. Hover your hands near the keyboard, and it turns on.
I came from a mechanical keyboard, and I can’t really complain - obviously slightly spongier feel of membrane, but very solid and satisfying to type on. Wide keys with a nice texture, and no wobble whatsoever.
I ordered 10am Wednesday, the keyboard arrived the next day at 7:30am.

  • Just bought the LG Microwave, thank you for sharing.

how does buying things through the market work?
If i have issues later with the product, does the support come from themarket? or noelleeming?

    • Agree. Have dismissed this as another marketing grab intermediate company previously.

      • It's owned by Warehouse Group (who also own Noel Leeming, Torpedo 7, Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery), so there's nothing to worry about.

It functions like AliExpress in that it's a marketplace for many different stores. You just buy through it like you would with any other site. Any required warranty support comes from The Market.

My previous experience asking theMarket support suggests that you can bring the receipt straight to the retailers - i.e. Noel Leeming

  • What’s the $60 off deal?
Does that automatically apply for over $300 purchases?

Also is there free shipping or collect in store?

    • Basically, yes, it's one of the current coupons on offer that can be applied once per account https://themarket.com/nz/coupons

You apply the applicable coupon during checkout to get the discount

Shipping is free, or you can opt to pickup at a collection point near you.

There is also the option of subscribing to a free trial of their "Market Club", which will also grant free shipping for most things. If you select this option, make sure you unsubscribe before the 90-day trial period ends to avoid getting charged.

      • How did you get free shipping without market club? Seems to be a $6 charge for both delivery and click and collect?

        • Ah, sorry, I was just going buy what I was seeing on the initial checkout screen. Seems it is $6, but cnc is still showing as free for me.

          • @Plug: Thanks - looked like $6 charge for shipping or pick up, so ended up with free Market retrial and shipping for the LG Microwave. Don't get me started on the pick-up points for Wellington though… Looked to be just at Warehouse Stationary available. Now I just need to remember to cancel my membership before retrial runs out.

            • @L3tstaxth1s: You can cancel it now and still receive it until it expires.

  • I have the LG Microwave bought it about 9 months ago , absolutely love it best Microwave ever , would Highly Recommend this Brand .

    • How does it different from other microwaves?

      • I find the size is a huge capacity, its very fast at cooking , the sensor cook programs are brilliant my vegetables are always perfect , I can fit a Huge casserole dish and cook enough bolognase sauce to feed 8 people . The Quality of the microwave is 100%.

      • I like the design and ease of use. The door is a single piece of glass that covers the entire face of the microwave, and has start and stop touch buttons, and a touch slider for controlling cooking duration. To start you just close the door and press start. From there you can adjust the cooking time with either repeated press of the start button (this will raise the time in 30 second increments), or you can use the touch slider. The microwave has all the cooking bells and whistles, but they're not at the forefront, and don't need to be sifted through in order to simply reheat something.

  • Looking for Dyson deals, mixed the last one which had the v11 down to 800ish from the market with free dok station

  • Just to say that I'm pleasantly surprised to have received my LG microwave today so quickly after only placing the Market order during the long weekend. I had mentally prepared myself for this taking 2 weeks to arrive ;)
