Razor E-Skateboard Long-board $240.99 Delivered from The Market

GET10GET30GET60

Thought this was an interesting option to get with the $60 off Voucher.

You need to add an item to get it over the $300 to qualify for the voucher. For the propose of this post I've added a $1 sim card but there are cheaper options.

Free delivery with Market Place Club (90 day trail).

The Razor E-SKATEBOARD CRUISER is also available for $279.00 before any voucher is applied. If you add an item over $31 you can get it for the same price.

I have no experience of this board but it appears to review reasonably well for an entry level skateboard.

As someone who has been riding electric skateboards since 2016, I wouldn't recommend this board. For this price, you would be better off getting a Meepo board (budget Chinese but reliable). The remote on this looks worse than most budget Chinese electric boards and looks like you need AA batteries. Also no indicator of remote battery or board battery. Also on, premium eboards BMS or ESC's die out first i.e for this budget board you'd need to contact The Market for warranty replacement/fix it. Doubt it would do 16km stated range, especially because this board is a one motor belt driven. Even with my Boosted Board V2 Dual Plus I wouldn't make 16km and it has a bigger battery pack and is two motor belt driven compared to this Razor. When the belt snaps you'll have to buy replacement belts for the motor. Also, not sure who manufactures those urethane wheels but if they aren't manufactured by a reputable company(i.e Abec11), you'll have to deal with wheel chipping.

But yeah this would be a good starter /beater board, would not recommend for commuting

    Past experience:
    Inboard M1
    Meepo V2
    Onewheel
    Evolve Carbon GT
    Evolve Bamboo GTX
    Trampa

    Past ownership:
    Evolve Bamboo GT
    Boosted Board V1 Dual Plus

Thank you for the advice really appreciate it.

Do you know if you have to buy the Meepo skateboards directly?

Not sure, but I know you can find good deals on them on TradeMe occasionally. Between 300-500 and their parts are easy to order and cheap if it breaks. There's also a couple of NZ guys who import Meepo boards rebranded under "Alpha." But yeah there are way better boards for good prices on TradeMe. There's also 3 NZ Facebook groups of electric riders where people sell their boards for cheap (how I got my Boosted for $200). One of them is called 'Electric Riders NZ.'

Some other budget boards to check out:
        Exway
        Backfire
        Wowgo
        Ownboard
        Verreal

Found this one on Catch. The specs seem a bit better but can’t find any reviews
