  • How is this compared to Mi365?

    • Mixed but more in favour of the M365 but sometimes because it's the cheaper option which isn't in this case. I note that none of the reviews mention the high difficulty most people have changing a flat tyre on the m365 - a problem the ES2 doesn't have with it's solid tyres.

      • You can easily fill the M365's tyres with Slime from SuperCheapAuto.

IMO Always go for the most popular scooter (so M365 or M365 Pro) because of parts availability, mods and accessories.

        • i looked into both before purchasing, i went with the M365 as it overall has better support, ie firmware upgrades and very easy to get parts from aliexpress

I have ES4 and currently at 1200km+, I recommend getting ES4 if you are more than 80kg, as ES2 have less power and you will find difficulty to ride 15 degree uphill. (i.e. in CBD area)

Read this page before pulling the trigger: https://electricrider.co.nz/shop/kickscooter-es4/#

    • Yeah, I own this model (through electric rider) and have been one of the unlucky ones… wouldn't recommend it.

    • Fair enough but hopefully Ninebot have fixed the issues. I own a M365 and they've had their fair share of problems (single fuse, regen issue, rear tail light cable wearing out, f2 fuse issue, front clasp snapping) but to their credit Xiaomi have addressed most of those.

Electricrider may have got landed with a bad batch - I know another importer got a bad batch of M365's - battery problems for the whole lot of them.

  • can you really travel upto 25km on a full charge before you need to charge it again?

Only in an ideal environment, 60kg at 15km/h speed with flat road.
My ES4 states it can last 45km, realistically it is around 30km at the most, most time around 26-27km

  • I have a ES1 which has been ridden for nearly 1500km now. Range about 21-22km still. Better over the m365 in the sense that it has solid tyres and suspension, but m365 has better ride quality.

The M365s just went on sale but think they've been cheaper. Unsure about PriceMes pricehistory chart.

  • I have the ES2 is it a good idea to get the extra battery or would I have more issues like the ES4 with the extra battery?
