What are some of the good brands to go for? taThat dose isnt allowed in nz, if customs finds it you will get it confiscated and a warning letter (i knw its stupid as you could just take 5 x 1,000iu but nz wacky rules)

@burnt toast: go here and search for vitamin d, tells you which strength can be got without a prescription. they don't make it easy to find it out, itd suck to get in trouble over vitamin d

What makes you concerned about it not getting through?
I ordered a 5000ui Vitamin D3 and 100% hyaluronic acid. I'm not sure about the Hyaluronic acid if that's allowed or not.

Seems someone above has ordered Vitamin D 5000 and received it alright, so hopefully it gets through. Also don't know if you bought from iHerb before but I have found they have insanely fast shipping for overseas. I've bought twice this year and received both within 5 days even with free shipping over $60ish.
@Hamster: Oh cool cheers. Yeah first time buying from iHerb. So fingers crossed. I'll wait until Black Friday to see if they do discount again. I'll probably buy something else then if all goes well. Funny thing is a few NZ online stores are selling Vitamin D3 5000ui.

So I believe customs doesn’t take a hard look. Some products don’t get flagged on the website and they still ship them. Melatonin was only recently banned a year ago on iHerb for example.
