  • Just noticed on the app that you can also use code NZ10 to get US$10 off orders over US$60

    • That code works on desktop as well. and has been mentioned in a few previous posts for amazon deals

    • ah man just bought one yesterday. Good find!

      • Can't you cancel your order and re-order?

        • With Amazon you just chat a CSR and let them know. They give you a refund.

          • @Monk: Sorry I should have clairified, bought a 4tb drive from Computer Lounge.

    • Has anyone bought an internal HDD from amazon or overseas before?
Whats the shipping and packaging like? I would worry about it being damaged in transit

      • This is how mine arrived about a month ago.

If you select Ship in amazon packaging it "may" have some extra padding or just chucked inside a bigger box.

Usually buy external's coz its often cheaper and better packaging.

check ozbargin they always have some deal on drives they find

        • Yeah I check sometimes to. I’ve bought external before, for the exact reason of better packaging.
But I really want some proper NAS drive for a project

      • I’ve bought several.

No issues to date and would just go back through Amazon if there ever was.

Usual story though, especially during Covid, if you need it real quick buy local.
