And here I am buying everything nut by the buckets and reusing PB containers (saving money in the process) while you double package 275g of peanut butter. Come on Fixnfogg.

    Where's my knife mofos?

    • my wife rang them about the missing knife. They apologized and sent one plus another bottle for free so..

    • same this with me. they apologized and sent me a knife and a large peanut butter aswell

Bought the previous deal… didn't think they were that great. Every time I opened the jar, there was a thick layer of oil on top. And plain peanut butter tastes alot better for me than these …which only slightly tasted like peanut butter.

    • +2

Yeah if you want to avoid oil on top of your peanut butter, stick to ETA or Pams or mix the oil into the rest of the peanut butter.

    • +3

Hi actually having a thick layer of oil on top is what you should see for a real peanut butter. The oil is purely come from peanut itself, I usually stir and mix it until become a smooth texture, otherwise you will get a super dry peanut butter.

      • +1

Thanks, yes I did stir it. Wow I get a negative vote because I said I didn't like the taste of a product… Oh well.

I have to agree with you cocopops.
          They're not really that great.
I don't care if I also get a negative vote for this.
Just an honest review to give others some kin of an idea.

They tasted burnt to me, I won't be buying from them again

Protip: Store your peanut butter with the jar upside down. And then when you come to use it the oil will be at the bottom of the jar.

      • Another tip.

Have another jar and put a couple of table spoons of the peanut butter in there, then you can stir it a lot easier.
I also keep some peanut oil on hand if it gets a little dry.

          Better living everyone!

  • +1 for not liking the ones from their previous deal. Too kooky for me and didn't really taste that nice. I'll stick to normal peanut butter.

    • +1

The knife was the only good part

  • +2

I usually buy their PB smooth as it has 2 ingredients peanut and sea salt rather than having fillers like vegetables oil or maize starch.

  • Sorry for the naive question. What's so special about this brand dark chocolate and their nut butter though

    • +1

Their dark chocolate peanut butter is really good, not too sweet or bitter, but you have to be a fan of peanut butter in the first place to like it.

Not sure how it compares to the new Pics chocolate peanut butter (dark vs milk chocolate so maybe not fairly comparable).

Their Chocolate Hazelnut Butter 275g has 75% hazelnuts vs other hazelnut spreads having at most 25% (Nutella has bugger all).

      • I preferred the F&F dark chocolate peanut butter.
The Pics Whittaker's one is good but being milk chocolate is a bit sweeter.

  • I gifted the three jar deal that was on here, they reckon it was one of the best nut butter they have had. And this deal is about Hazelnut+Cashew butter, so why is everyone talking about PB, is it just because it is their flagship product?
