80

Good price for the semi-auto Breville Oracle espresso machine. Only available in the one colour,

Automates the process of grinding, dosing, tamping and milk steaming

Has features such as

  • Dual boilers. Steam and extract at the same time
  • Accurate PID temp control adjustable in 1 degree increments
  • Low pressure pre-infusion
  • Integrated grinder

Breville espresso machines are pretty well built and their top range of machines can provide excellent tasting espresso with the right person behind them.

Have seen comments on a previous deal that $2000 was a good price for a refurb unit so I decided to post this, don’t think I’ve seen it this cheap for a new unit before

An awesome machine and close to top of the range, but most people would be happy with the BES870 which when it comes down to $800 is a pretty good buy. The biggest difference between the BES870 and the BES980 is that the 870 is a single boiler unit and the 980 is a duel boiler. The 980 also auto tamps.

    • Also Oracle tamps, the Express (?) doesn't.

  • Pretty good deal if you don't mind the colour. Also as far as I know the Black Sesame is the end of line colour so maybe that's why it's on discount.

    • I think I'm in love with that colour and wouldn't mind a whole kitchen set in it. To each their own ay! :D

  • Good price - same as Boxing Day sales in Australia! Exactly the colour I was after, too, so I pulled the trigger.

  • Use a touch one of these at work and can recommend it, you do still have to learn about grind settings etc, it's not going to make the perfect cup every time by itself (I have to adjust every couple of days to keep it consistent) but once you get that under control it's nice and easy.

  • Seems like a great deal thanks. Looks like a good combination of high quality coffee and convenience. Shame it's so big
