You can now earn free credit every time you wear a helmet while riding a Flamingo.
After you start your ride, a helmet icon will show in the bottom right-hand corner of the map. Simply tap this button and take a selfie photo which clearly shows yourself wearing a helmet.
These photos will then be reviewed by our incredible customer support team and you will receive 3 free minutes for every ride you take a helmet selfie on!

The number of scooter helmets I've seen lying on the ground is troubling, given that you're meant to replace cycle helmets after dropping them on a hard surface like concrete because it's entirely possible that they're now shot through with small cracks and other damage that will make them far less effective. Better than not wearing it, but this kind of cheap shared stuff that gets thrown around and rained on just isn't going to last very long, certainly not in a safe and comfortable state.
